For centuries the Arabian desert was known only by Bedouins who lived there. Then when oil was discovered in 1938 the Bedouins moved away progressively from their harsh life to seek for better conditions in fleshly built modern cities. They brought with them the stories of their family and ancestors depicting the desert as a terrifying place to be absolutely avoided. On the same time expatriates from around the world started to arrive in the Kingdom but only few of them dared to face the difficult conditions that implied traveling through Saudi Arabia.
There are so many wonderful sites in Saudi Arabia which are listed as UNESCO World Heritage sites. Makki Al-Kurdi is the local Saudi National who is passionate about the strong historical significance and hidden gems that he knows exist around Saudi and initiated the project in order to share these findings with those who could appreciate it.
Makki is familiar with both Saudi Arabia's traditional and modern lifestyle.
His knowledge is central to our network and knowledge of the country.

Mitri Kurban
Mitri Kurban is born into a family dedicated to Tourism in the Middle East since 1952.
After 12 years in the North American market acting as DMC, he settled in the Middle East acting as an inbound operator serving international companies in UAE, Oman & Lebanon.
He has more than 30 years expertise in DMC. Mitri is a board member of the Kurban group and of the Gray Line corporation.
Kurban Tours is acting with a Management contract to help DESERT Point become a leader in next few years.
Florent Egal
Florent Egal is a French National who has explored most of the Kingdom since he arrived in Riyadh in early 2010. Florent has been fascinated by the stunning landscape and incredibly rich history of Saudi Arabia since his first desert trip.
Since then Florent has made several significant archeological discoveries, has become a lecturer about ancient Saudi Arabian history, and has joined the archeological mission of Hegra/Madain Saleh.Florent is part of the mission of Madain Saleh as an exploration expert and for his knowledge of the ancient Nabatean trade roads. He is also an official trainer of tour guides for the Royal Commission of Al-Ula. All these attributes make him an encyclopedia of knowledge for our project, and this gives our tours a quality that no other operator can equal. Florent explored the country corner by corner before the opportunity for international tourism arose.
Florent will be acting as an advisor to the board, to give the corporation a great knowledge of the destination.
Elodie Azar
Elodie Joined the Kurban Group 14 years ago as a business development manager and has progressed through the company. During that time Elodie has developed many international contacts from Europe, America and Asia.
Today, the key to success of our Saudi project is marketing and execution and Elodie will add vital knowledge and experience to these fields.
